Can you have a golf cart delivered to a vacation rental?
Yes. Tell us the rental address when you book and we drive the cart there before your stay starts, fully charged, with a cable so you can plug in overnight. Delivery is free inside Welaka city limits. We pick it up at the end. You never have to go anywhere to get it.
Why bother, when you drove here?
Because the car becomes the thing you stop using.
A rental on the St. Johns is usually a short hop from the Welaka Boat Ramp, a little further to Welaka Fish, Crab and Bait, and about the same to dinner. In a car that is a sequence of small trips, parking each time. In a cart it is one loose afternoon where nobody is thinking about the car.
Stillwater Welaka and Low Tide Welaka are two we deliver to often. Both sit about a mile from the public boat ramp, both sleep eight, both take dogs and have boat and trailer parking. A mile is a nothing trip in a cart and an annoying one in a truck you keep having to reposition.
Every road inside Welaka town limits is posted 35 mph or under, County Road 309 and 308B included, and a street-legal LSV can use all of them. Your cart goes wherever your weekend goes.
What do you need?
- Everyone who plans to drive must be 21 or older
- A valid driver license for each driver
- Proof of their own auto insurance for each driver
- The rental address, and your dates
Two-day minimum. $80 a day for a 4-seater, $95 for a 6-seater, 10% off at seven days or more. Paid in full at booking, no deposit.
What if the owner has rules about carts?
Ask before you book. Some properties have their own parking arrangements, and a cart plugged in overnight uses an outdoor outlet. Most hosts are glad to have it. A two-minute text saves a surprise.

Why offer a cart at all?
Because it changes what your listing is competing on.
There are a lot of river houses in this stretch of Putnam County. Most of them list the same things: dock, view, kitchen, sleeps eight. A cart in the driveway is a different kind of amenity. It shows up in photos, it changes what a family can do without loading the car, and it gives you something concrete to say in a listing that everyone else says in adjectives.
You do not have to buy one to offer it.
How it works
You tell your guests we exist. We handle the rest: booking, delivery to your property, license and insurance checks, the walk-around, pickup at the end. The cart is ours, insured as a low-speed vehicle under Florida law, and the rental agreement is between us and your guest.
Nothing about it lands on you.

Common questions
Can we charge it at the rental?
Yes. It plugs into a standard outdoor outlet with the cable we leave you. A full charge should get you about 55 miles, which is more than a day of running around Welaka. Plug in at night and you start every morning full.
What if we arrive late?
Tell us your arrival time when you book. We can deliver before you get there so the cart is waiting, which is how most guests do it.
Can the owner drive it too?
Only if they are 21 or older, hold a valid license, carry their own auto insurance, and are listed on the rental agreement. The agreement is with whoever booked. Anyone else driving needs to be on it.
What happens if something goes wrong?
