Our Story
How Welaka Got Under Our Skin.
We're Jon and Rachel Minion, and we didn't grow up in Welaka. We found it. One trip to the Bass Capital of the World and we were hooked: the St. Johns River at golden hour, the fish camps, the front-porch friendliness, and a pace that finally lets you exhale.
The more time we spent here, the more we wanted everyone else to feel it too. So we started telling people. We even built visitwelaka.com to put this town on the map and help folks find the good stuff.

Married co-founders, lifelong builders, and shameless Welaka evangelists. When we're not delivering carts, we run a marketing company and a cancer-support nonprofit. Our approach here is the same as everywhere: action over theory, and treating you the way we'd want to be treated.
