How it works

Spot it. Snap it. Shout bingo.

Three steps. One of them involves yelling in public, which we fully support.

Get a cart

Street legal, four or six seats. We supply the cart. You supply the people willing to argue about whether that counts as a mullet.

Go find things

Some squares are easy. Some require patience. A peacock does not run on your schedule and we will not be taking questions about that.

Take the picture

Stop by each one, get a photo, mark the square. Five in a row wins, and then it goes on Instagram or Facebook tagged @welakagolfcarts. Loudly.

Two squares are on every single card: a golf cart and live music. Consider it a running start. And yes, there is a camel. His name is Groot. We are not going to explain it.

The rules, such as they are

Nobody is checking. Except everybody.

A photo counts. A story does not. "We definitely drove past it" is not a photo. Your family will hold you to this.

Five in a row wins. Across, down, or corner to corner. The free space in the middle is yours already.

Post it, don't mail it. Winning card goes on Facebook or Instagram, tagged @welakagolfcarts. Please do not email us a photo of a bingo card. We want the whole town to see it.

Be nice to the locals. Some squares are actual people going about their day. Ask before you point a camera at anybody.

Hand out different numbers. Every card is numbered. Give everyone the same one and the game is over in nine minutes.

Eyes up, not down. Whoever is driving does not get to hold the card. That one is not a joke.
